Universal Temperature Conversion with Smart HART Communication

The Supmea SUP-ST500 is a high-precision, head-mounted temperature transmitter designed to bridge the gap between your field sensors and control system. Fitting seamlessly into standard DIN Form B sensor heads, this unit converts signals from a wide range of RTDs and Thermocouples into a robust, linear 4...20 mA current loop.

What sets this model apart is its HART® Protocol capability. This smart digital communication allows for remote configuration, calibration, and diagnostics over the existing 4-20mA loop wires, giving you unprecedented control and visibility into your process instrumentation without needing to access the sensor head physically.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Universal Signal Input: One device covers all your needs. Programmable to accept RTDs (Pt100, Cu50, Cu100) and Thermocouples (Types K, S, B, J, R, N, T, E), as well as Resistance and Voltage (mV) signals.

  • HART® Communication: Fully HART enabled, allowing for two-way digital communication. Configure ranges, check sensor health, and trim outputs remotely using a standard HART communicator or modem.

  • High-Accuracy Conversion: Delivers exceptional performance with transmission accuracy of <0.1% Full Scale, ensuring your control room sees exactly what the sensor sees.

  • Form B Compatibility: Designed with a 44mm diameter to fit perfectly inside standard DIN B connection heads, protecting the electronics from harsh plant environments (IP66 when installed).

  • PC Programmable: In addition to HART, the unit can be easily configured via PC using a dedicated USB interface and software for rapid bench setup.

  • Built-in Compensation: Features automatic Cold Junction Compensation (CJC) for thermocouples to maintain accuracy across varying ambient temperatures (drift <0.01% FS/°C).
