The PP material provides a balance between durability and writability. Unlike PET or PVC labels, which resist ink, the writable surface allows pen ink to adhere. However, this comes with trade-offs in environmental durability compared to fully sealed label surfaces.

Material Limitations — Writable Surface Trade-Offs

The writable coating is designed for ink absorption rather than full environmental sealing. As a result, handwritten content may be affected by moisture, abrasion, or chemical exposure. These labels are best suited to indoor or controlled environments where the written content remains protected.

For applications requiring long-term durability, chemical resistance, or outdoor exposure, non-writable PET or PVC labels should be considered instead.
