Direct Mass, Density, and Temperature Measurement

The Supmea SUP-FCC300 is a high-performance Coriolis Mass Flow Meter designed for the most demanding precision metering applications. Unlike volumetric flow meters, the FCC300 measures the mass flow of the fluid directly, making it immune to changes in pressure, temperature, viscosity, or density.

This makes it the ultimate solution for measuring everything from standard liquids and gases to difficult high-viscosity fluids, slurries, and suspensions in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries.

One Meter, Multiple Measurements

A single installation provides simultaneous, real-time monitoring of:

  1. Mass Flow Rate (kg/h, t/h)

  2. Volumetric Flow Rate (derived)

  3. Fluid Density (kg/m³)

  4. Temperature (°C)

  5. Concentration (Brix, % Solids - derived)

Key Features & Benefits

  • Exceptional Accuracy: Standard accuracy of 0.5%, with high-precision options for 0.2% and 0.1%, ensuring tight control over your expensive process media.

  • Dual-Tube Design: Features a robust dual-tube sensor structure that decouples pipeline stress and vibration, ensuring stable zero-points and reliable readings.

  • Wide Application Range: Suitable for non-Newtonian fluids, high-viscosity mediums, and fluids with suspended solids that would clog or damage other meter types.

  • No Straight Pipe Required: Due to the Coriolis principle, this meter does not require upstream or downstream straight pipe runs, simplifying installation in tight spaces.

  • Digital Integration: Comes standard with RS485 Modbus RTU alongside Pulse/Frequency and 4...20 mA outputs for seamless integration into PLC and SCADA systems.

Notes on Model Selection and Pricing

We have provided pricing for each nominal diameter size assuming the following requirements, variations from this will affect the pricing - please contact us if in doubt:

  • Universal power supply voltage (24 Vdc/220 Vac)
  • Standard output 4...20 mA and pulse output.
  • Digital communications are required (HART or Modbus RTU to be selected)
  • Standard accuracy (0.5% for gas, 0.2% for fluid)
  • Integrated flowtube and transmitter construction (remote mount option is available)
  • Explosion protection: Ex db ia IIC T6 Gb
  • The standard process connections are HG/T 20592 Flange OR ISO2852 Sanitary Tri-Clamp
  • Temperature limitation for the flowtube is -50...200 °C. NOTE: Remote transmitter is required if the medium is >80 °C, which affects a minor increase in price.

Note on Sensor Construction

The sensor geometry is optimized based on the nominal diameter to ensure maximum sensitivity and stability:

  • DN3 – DN15: Micro-bend (Triangle) Structure for high sensitivity at low flow rates.

  • DN15 – DN100: U-Shape Structure for stability and rangeability in standard process lines.

Ideal Applications

  • Batching & Blending: Precise mass-based dosing of ingredients.

  • Custody Transfer: Accurate billing of expensive chemicals or fuels.

  • Density Monitoring: Online quality control of concentration (e.g., sugar content, alcohol proof).

  • Difficult Fluids: Measuring molasses, bitumen, slurries, or resins.
