The Bante CON Series offers precision glass-body conductivity electrodes designed to cover the full spectrum of laboratory measurements. From ultrapure water to highly concentrated saline solutions, selecting the correct cell constant (K) ensures linear, accurate readings.

Constructed with high-quality platinum sensors and a chemical-resistant glass body, these electrodes provide rapid response and long-term stability for critical laboratory analysis.

Select Your Model: Which Cell Constant Do You Need?

Choosing the right Cell Constant (K) is critical for accuracy. Use the guide below to match the model to your application.

1. Bante CON-0.1 (K=0.1) – For Pure Water

  • Best For: Ultrapure water, distilled water, deionized (DI) water, and boiler condensate.
  • Range: 0 – 100 µS/cm
  • Application: Ideal for semiconductor rinsing, power plant water quality, and pharmaceutical water testing where conductivity is extremely low.

2. Bante CON-1 (K=1.0) – The General Purpose Standard

  • Best For: Drinking water, wastewater, surface water, hydroponics, and general chemical solutions.
  • Range: 10 µS/cm – 20 mS/cm
  • Application: The "Standard" probe included with most meters. Perfect for everyday lab work, environmental testing, and checking nutrient levels.

3. Bante CON-10 (K=10.0) – For High Conductivity

  • Best For: Seawater, brine, salinity, acids, bases, and high-concentration plating baths.
  • Range: 100 µS/cm – 200 mS/cm
  • Application: Essential for measuring samples with high salt content or high ionic strength where standard probes would saturate.

Key Features

  • Platinum Sensor Technology: Utilizes proven platinum plate sensors for high linearity, minimal polarization errors, and being an inert metal - minimal degradation from use with aggressive chemicals.

  • Chemical Resistant Glass: The glass body withstands aggressive chemicals and solvents that can damage plastic probes.

  • Fast Response: Glass construction allows for quick thermal equilibrium, ensuring stable readings faster.

  • Universal Compatibility: Equipped with a standard 6-pin mini-DIN connector, compatible with Bante benchtop and portable conductivity meters (and other compatible brands).

Expert Tip: Cleaning & Storage

  • Storage: Rinse thoroughly with deionized water and store dry.
  • Cleaning: For general buildup, soak in warm water with mild detergent. For mineral deposits, a brief soak in mild acid (vinegar or dilute HCl) followed by a thorough rinse can restore performance.
  • Platinization: If readings become unstable over long periods, the platinum black coating may need refreshing (re-platinization), which can be done with compatible meters.
