This series of tri-clamp PT100 temperature probes is designed for food industry hygienic use.
It features a high accuracy class A PT100 sensing element. The probe is made from corrosion resistant 316 stainless steel and features a reduced tip diameter to enhance speed of response. The process connection is a triclamp design per ISO 2852. The sensor is connected via a 5m PTFE lead with ferrule ends.
The reduced tip probe design improves the speed of response to temperature fluctuations - a critical consideration for pasteurization applications.
The construction is waterproof, chemical resistant, wear resistant, and fabricated from standard food-industry materials. The probe and connecting wire will withstand frying temperatures.
